Each use case is a named signal, not a new product category

Strongest on non-human identities, entitlement risk and access-pattern posture. Adjacent work is in scope only as grant versus use.

By role: the thirty-minute demo

Each session runs against sample data and stays on the lines that matter to the person in the room.

Chief information security officer

Risk you can take upstairs

  1. 0–8Why grant and use disagree, and why that is the perimeter now.
  2. 8–20Open the ranked worklist on one path. Five lines, owners, actions.
  3. 20–30Pilot terms: read-only, in tenant, what leaves the room.
Identity and access management

Catalogue to worklist

  1. 0–8Connectors and what stays the system of record.
  2. 8–20Grant versus use on one identity. Recertify and recover seats.
  3. 20–30How a finding routes to the owner without a new campaign engine.
Security operations center

Library to page

  1. 0–8Three patterns: off-purpose, odd hour and region, standing after revoke.
  2. 8–20The 03:00 HR query and the revoked-but-live deploy bot, evidence attached.
  3. 20–30What pages the desk, and what never should.

Use cases

Entitlement risk

Who has access versus who is using it

Who was granted the entitlement on the left, who is exercising it on the right. The difference is the finding.

Standing access

Service account used after it was revoked

The grant closed on the record is still live in the pipeline. Owner left. Token not rotated.

Recertification

Rank entitlements by risk for recertification

Campaigns stop being the whole catalogue. Highest-risk lines first, definition attached, owner named.

Non-human identity

AI agent with no owner, still deploying

Coding agents and release bots on the same register as people. No governance record and still merging or promoting to production.

Operations signal

An identity signal, not unused-privilege noise

The library pages the line that looks like misuse, with evidence already on the finding.

Identity posture

Grant versus use, not another inventory

Whether the group exists is governance. Whether it is being used off purpose is the library.

Access management

Privileged sessions on RDP, SSH and data stores

Watch the session, classify risk, terminate what should not continue. Record what the auditor will ask for.

Access management

Credential vaulting and rotation

Secrets and privileged passwords under policy. Rotate on an interval or on a finding from the worklist.

Access management

Vendor access without a standing VPN

Time-boxed, audited entry for people not on payroll. The identity provider authenticates. Quantlyx brokers the session.

Access management

Overlay on the vault you already run

Keep the existing store on the most regulated assets. Cover cloud, DevOps and endpoints outside that footprint.

Just-in-Time

Kill standing privilege on production

Request, dual-approve, expire. The coding agent and the human admin use the same path.

Just-in-Time

Prevent always-on admin as a misconfiguration

Policy refuses standing elevation. Access that outlives the ticket is a signal, not an operating model.

Quantpass Vault

Harvest now, decrypt later, for credentials

Ciphertext taken today must still face ML-KEM-1024. Post-quantum at the credential, not only at TLS.

Quantpass Vault

Zero-knowledge enterprise vault

Can the vendor read our passwords if the tenant is copied? No. Private keys stay on the device.

Quantpass Vault

Phishing-resistant sign-in

ML-DSA-44 challenge-response. No shared secret on the wire. Optional FIDO2 on the identity.

Quantpass Vault

Machine identity secrets, rotated

API keys, SSH keys, certificates, tokens. Rotation on an interval or on a finding. Signed audit on every checkout.

Quantpass Vault

Ephemeral credentials for AI agents

Short-lived secrets for agents and model workflows. Nothing standing in a prompt or a config file.

Quantpass Vault

CI/CD secrets without environment variables

CLI and SDK inject at run time. The secret does not live in GitHub Actions plaintext.

Quantpass Vault

Post-quantum SSO overlay on Okta or Entra

SAML, OIDC, SCIM. The identity provider enrolls the person. The vault holds what they use after that.

Quantpass Vault

Vault access in the SIEM

Who opened what, under which algorithm, from which device. Forward to Splunk or Sentinel.

Developer risk and governance for the software development lifecycle

Your change record says a person shipped it. Your pipeline says a bot did. Quantlyx reads what was approved and what was actually committed, built, deployed and run, then routes every disagreement to the accountable owner with the evidence attached.

  • Coding agents that merge under a person's credential
  • Pipeline identities nobody enrolled or certified
  • Releases outside the approved change window
  • Break-glass paths used as the normal release
  • Fortnightly, or on demand before a release board, audit window or regulatory examination

What that looks like in the work

Use · HR data

This person has access. Why is it being used from another country at 03:00?

The entitlement is legitimate. The use is not the work it was granted for. Location, hour and asset together are a misuse signal, visible only when the access record and the access event sit in the same view.

Use · change management

The ticket said ABC. The account was used for something else.

A change request defined the purpose. An account was created against that ticket. Later use does not match the definition. Quantlyx is built so that question has an answer.

Use · non-human identity

The AI service account is doing work nobody asked for.

Using those credentials to reach data, merge changes or hold standing production access outside their purpose is invisible if you only look at the grant.

Use · recertification

The review was timely. The risk was not reviewed.

Campaigns grow until they are rubber-stamped. Quantlyx ranks the highest-risk entitlements and puts a definition on each one.

Where we start. Where we stop.

Identity hygiene

Orphans, unused seats, rubber-stamped reviews, stale standing access. Same ranked queue.

Data-system exercise

When an HR or finance grant is used off purpose — another country at 03:12, or seats certified and not exercised.

What governance receives

A ranked queue with purpose on the line. Your governance platform stays the system of record. Campaigns shrink.

SaaS entitlement use

Unused seats on the applications you already connect. Not application-configuration sprawl.

Standing privileged entitlements

Revoked on the record, still live. The vault you already run executes the rotate. Quantlyx ranks the line.

What this is not

Not a new identity store. Not a write path. Not another campaign engine.

ID entitlement. Rank by risk. Remediate.

Start with a two-week, read-only pilot against one lifecycle path. If nothing turns up, you keep a clean report.
